Description Black and white photograph of the Castle Green, Hereford, 1929. On the Castle Green is a Bandstand and a Bowling Green. In its center is a column commemorating Lord Nelson who was made a Freeman of Hereford City in 1802. The column was erected in 1809. In the bottom left corner is the Victoria foot bridge going over the River Wye.
