A black and white photograph of the interior of Shobdon Court with a fireplace with caryatids,a mantelshelf with a monster and a large oil painting with a plaque reading 'Lecomte du Nouy'. The portrait is 'A portrait of Lady Bateman' (1902) by French painter Jean-Jules-Antoine Lecomte du Nouÿ (1842-1923).
