Description Black and white photograph showing about a hundred young boys in several tiers. There are some male adults interspersed among the boys and two girls, one at each end. Some of the boys look as young as four or five years old.
The heading for the photograph in the newspaper is "A BIG FAMILY" and the caption underneath reads " Boys from the parish of St. James-the-Less, Liverpool who are encamped at Overross."
An article relating to the photograph is on a different page (page 5) under the column for Local News, "LIVERPOOL BOYS' CAMP"
