| Description | A black and white photograph of a 24hp La Buire motor car, photographed in the yard of The Green Dragon, Hereford before the area was roofed over and the lockups removed. The driver is U. Corbett-Winder, who had a garage at the bottom of Commercial Road, later owned by James Fryer Ltd. then R.P. Ravenhill. He married Miss Pardridge of Bacton and lived for many years at Landinabo. The front passenger is George Henry Butcher of Delamere, Bodenham Road. Seated in the back left to right are Miss Phyllis Butcher, Mrs G.G. Butcher, Master Alec Butcher and Miss Kathleen Butcher.G.H. Butcher opened the Green Dragon Garage for James Fryer of Kington in 1908. |
