| Description | A black and white photograph of officers of the First Administrative Battalion Hereford Rifle Volunteers at their annual camp at Broomy Hill, Hereford. Two are wearing scarlet jackets with black facings and with old style, short shakos (extreme left and second right). The number 7 denotes the 7th Battalion, based in Kington.The soldier on the left seems to be a quarter-master sergeant with four inverted chevrons on each cuff..The others are wearing frogged patrol jacket and flat square peaked forage caps and kepis.
