---|---|
Description | A black and white photograph of a colour party in full dress. Soldiers have insignia of Herefordshire Regiment and wear spiked helmets, The King’s colour on the left and the Regimental colour on the right are carried by subalterns. The two Colours are escorted by Senior NCOs equipped with Lee Enfield rifles, with bayonets. The one in the centre has two medals one with two bars and a trade badge suggesting he is a Regimental Signal Instructor. A small part of the plate has been cracked off in the bottom left corner. The location is the Barracks, Harold St, Hereford. This photograph is identical to G36-316-03 except that the background detail seems sharper. |
