Title | Portrait of an 18th century judge |
---|---|
Description | A black and white photograph of a painting of a man in a judge's wig and robes, in the fashion of the 18th century. This painting does bear some resemblance to a portrait if Sir Archibald Macdonald, 1st Baronet (1747-1826), painted by George Romney c.1975 in regards to the attire an pose of the model, though there are differences in the facial features and details of the attire. It could be a copy of that portrait. |
