Title | Older man with a soldier of the King's Shropshire Light Infantry at the Bishop's Palace gates, Hereford |
---|---|
Description |
A black and white photograph of two men stood next to each other, on the right is a soldier in a single-breasted greatcoat and service dress hat with badge of King’s Shropshire Light Infantry. The older man on the left appears to be a country man with a Newgate Fringe beard, dressed in overcoat, double breasted jacket, muffler, and a Homburg hat. It looks bitterly cold and their expressions are sombre. In the background is the gatehouse of the Bishop’s Palace, Hereford, which was opposite Bustin Studios. |
