Description Black and white photograph of a young man wearing a Service Dress tunic, collar and tie with a Sam Browne belt but no insignia. There is a white cover over the crown of his Service Dress hat and he has a small stick and gloves in his hand. The white cover and blue patrol jacket worn with collar and tie was optional summer wear for all regiments (Source : Great War Forum). The background is the panelled room often seen in Bustin studio portraits.
