Dear
R.F.C. , B.E.F. , France . 29/5/1917 . Mrs. Lloyd I am very sorry to have to in-
form you that your son , Lieutenant E. A Lloyd , did not return from patrol on May 27th . However , later in the same day , another son's machine , intact , about 3 miles behind the patrol saw what we believe to have been you German lines , on the ground . I think , there fore , there is a strong probability that your son managed to make a safe landing , and is a prisoner of war in Germany . I had the high- est opinion of your son and his loss is much felt . not only by myself , but by the whole squadron . Please accept my most sincere sympathy in your trouble , but from what 1 know I am sure you must not give up hope . Yours sincerely . R. G. Blomfield , Major , Commanding No.- Squadron , Royal Flying

INOSTROLINE
NIPS IT IN THE BUD .
At the first warning symptom of Cold in the Head , use " Nostroline " and nip it in the bud . Often a single application of " Nostroline " effects a complete cure . " Nostroline " goes right in where the germs are and destroys them . It clears your head instantly . You can prove in a minute that Nostroline " does so . Try it and see . It is sheer folly to let colds get a grip of you when you can so easily repel them with " Nostroline . " Get a tube of " Nostroline to - day . Tubes 18. 1jd . and 28.
