| Description | Black and white photograph of a print drawn from a sculpture by G Vertue. Thomas had experience in with musical festivals and arranged for the Cathedral Choirs of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester to do something annually on a rotation basis starting around 1716. This was the genesis to the Three Choirs Festival, the oldest in Britain. There is a wall memorial to Thomas in Weston-under-Penyard church. |
