Title Baby Photograph Contest: Christian Howells (2nd Prize Winner), November 6, 1975
Description lack and white studio portrait photograph of a young boy wearing a bow tie.

The article is headed "132 ENTERED BABY COMPETITION".

A baby photograph competition run by Walbrook Photography attracted 132 entries. The contest was advertised in the Ross Gazette four weeks previously (October 9, page 4). To enter the competition parents had to bring their "baby" along to Walbrook's studio for the photograph to be taken. The photographs were then submitted to a panel of judges who selected the "most appealing portraits". As a sales promotion, the photograph was offered for purchase at a "special discount price".
On the panel of judges were the Mayor of Ross, Mrs. Joyce Thomas; Ross Gazette reporter, Mr. Martin Morris; Florist, Miss. Bridget Like and quantity surveyor, Mr. David Open.

This boy is the 2nd prize winner, Christian Howells who lived in Church Close, Ross. He won a £5 "Kids in Fashion" voucher.

Walbrook Photography's studio and shop was at 15, Broad Street.
"Kids In Fashion" was a children's clothing and toy shop located at 7 Market Place.
