He is afloat in the middle of a swimming pool being pulled along by a young man dressed as a seal. There is also an inflatable dolphin floating behind the dinghy. The event is a Christmas party held at Ross swimming pool for over one-hundred children from the combined junior schools of Ross. Pool games were dreamed up by the Pool's Superintendent Mr L. J. James. Invited guests were Mr J. E. Harris (Chairman of South Herefordshire Council) and fellow Councillors Mr B. C. Hackett (O.B.E) and Mr W. W. Makin. |
