A fire fighting demonstration was put on for members of the "Hereford and Worcester Fire Protection Association" who were holding a meeting at the Fire Station. The participating firemen are not named. It was not until 1982 that the UK started recruiting full-time female firefighters. The first was Josephine Reynolds who joined the Norfolk Fire Service. |
