Title Ross Hospital Carnival 1928: Decorated Premises Prize Winner, June 7 1928
Description Black and white photograph showing a small girl dressed in a red cross nurses' uniform and a small boy sat in a toy red cross ambulance. On their left is a simulated accident involving a toy car and a doll's pram on its side. They are on a step outside a shop front which is festooned with flags and tied-up bunches of foliage hanging upside down. In the window is a diorama of a hospital scene using dolls.

The caption is "DECORATED PREMISES - FIRST PRIZE, Mr. T. E. Farmer's Red Cross Hospital"

Mr. Thomas Edward Farmer's entry in the Kelly's Directory for Herefordshire 1934 is "Farmer T. E. & Sons, painters and house decorators, Copse Cross street & 43 New street".
In an advertisement that appeared in the Ross Gazette his shop address is given as 8 Copse Cross street. This is where the photograph was taken.

Today the property is a private dwelling.
