JOCKEY - EDWARD KENDALL PEARSON
"Mr. S. K. Pearson, as a jockey, on tricycle with triple floral arch"
The name Edward Kendall Pearson is written in blue ink on the photograph with a line drawn to a man dressed as a jockey.
He was born in Ross in 1868 so would have been aged 18/19. The previous year he had started his journalist career with the Hereford Times as their Ross correspondent.
A detailed account of his life is given in his obituary which appeared in the Ross Gazette, May 30, 1946.
