Son of William and Sarah Ann Skyrme, of 69, Millbrook St., Hereford, Leonard was wounded in action in Gaza on March 27th 1917, and died of his wounds in hospital on 5th April 1917. He is buried at Kantara War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt
