    Description: A black and white photograph of a young lady, standing by a wire fence on a roof top. She seems to be wearing an overall -style dress popular in the Great War but there is no evidence that she is a munitions worker.

    Description: A black and white photograph of the memorial to 2nd Lieut Cecil Francis Wegg-Prosser of the Rifle Brigade, killed in France, September 3rd, 1916. "Calvary unveiled at Belmont Abbey 3rd May 1918. The memorial was fixed outside the chapel of St Joseph, the family grave of the Wegg-Prossers ( two marble tombs) being immediately below. The base is made of Yorkshire stone rock-faced with an English oak crucifix above. The figure on the cross was made of carved teak and the whole memorial is 14 foot high". This photograph also shows a small laurel wreath which has been placed at the foot of the memorial.

    Description: A black and white photograph of Captain Sir Herbert Archer Croft Bt. of Lugwardine Court and serving in the Herefordshire Regiment . He was one of the first recruits in the county and country and offered to raise a company of 150 men to bring the battalion up to strength. He was born in 1868 and reported missing in the Dardanelles August 1915.(Source Hereford Times 28th August 1915). His memorial plaque is at St Micheal and All Angels churchyard, Leominster.

    Description: A black and white photograph of Captain Sir Archer Croft (1868-1915) standing with his son James Herbert Croft (1907-1941). He is in the uniform of a Captain of the Herefordshire Regiment, wearing a Rifle Belt and a pistol in a leather holster. His son is dressed similarly. They are standing in front of a studio backdrop. His son later became Captain of the Herefordshire regiment, and passed in 1941 during the Second World war. See also G36-365-02.
