    Description: Black and white headshot photograph of a man wearing glasses. The man is named as Mr.Keith Walby. The photograph was used in an advertisement to announce he had joined the sales staff of Hartland Motors at Gloucester. Hartland Motors Limited were located at St. Oswald's Road in Gloucester and became a main dealer for Renault cars. They only occasionally advertised their car sales in the Ross Gazette. It was not until the following year in November 1975 did they make it apparent that Mr. Walby operated from Ross-on-Wye. In May 1976 their advertisement went further - "Your local rep. is Keith Walby Address: 23 The Gresleys, Ross-on-Wye..."

Parted from husband in terror attack". The woman is Mrs. Hilda Hendry who had been caught up in a hijacking incident when armed Arab terrorists took over a British Airways VC-10 in Dubai. The aeroplane was forced to fly to Tripoli and then on to Tunis. She was released unharmed.

The couple are George and Eleanor Mills on the occasion of their diamond wedding anniversary. They met when George chased a cow and calf into Ross Cottage Hospital where Eleanor (Davies) was working as a ward maid. In the First World War, George served with the King's Shropshire Regiment and fought at the Battle of the Somme. The object he is holding is a tobacco tin wrapped in a knitted sock.
