    Description: Black and white half length photograph of officer wearing Service Dress cap with the badge of the King's Liverpool Regiment, as well as a tunic, collar and tie. The jacket cuffs have a decorative lace work denoting rank, suggesting this was an early wartime photograph and that his rank was Second Lieutenant. He wears a rifle belt, is holding a cane and gloves and is perched on the edge of a small table in the studio.
