Description:
A black and white photograph of a group of 27 including three officers and five sergeants. The office on the left has the cap badge of the General Service Corps, the two others have the cap badge of the Liverpool Regiment, the men have a variety of cap badges. Some have wound stripes, introduced in 1916 and good conduct stripes, a few have medal ribbons. Several, including the officers are wearing the soft peaked caps introduced in 1915. The men are photographed against the background of a brick building with a double flight of steps leading to the entrance. The mood is relaxed and the men are smiling. In view of the age of most, this could have been taken at a Depot somewhere.
