Black and white photograph of Evangeline Mary Anthony. 28 November 1884 - 1 February 1913. Born at 88 Aylestone Hill in Tupsley. She studied the violin under August Wilhelmj at the Guildhall School of Music in London. In 1910 she owned a 1789 Lorenzo Storioni violin. Evangeline passed away after an operation for appendicitis in Bonn aged 28. She was the granddaughter of the founder of the Hereford Times.
