    Description: Black and white photograph of Lady Emily Foley (elder lady) walking to church with Miss Mary Hubert, with the footman following, August 1897. Emily was the 4th daughter of James Graham, 3rd Duke of Montrose. She married Dr Edward Foley on 16th August, 1832 and lived at Stoke Edith Park. After her husbands death, she became prominent in civil activities in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. She helped to plan the layout of the town of Malvern. She opened the Victoria Suspension Footbridge over the River Wye at Hereford in 1898. After her death, a large part of the Foley estate was sold.
