Black and white photograph of Louise Henrietta Luard, first female Mayor of Hereford City Council in 1929 and again in 1936. She was the daughter of Revd Smith, Treasurer of Hereford Cathedral. She married in 1905 but lost her husband during the First World War. Louise was awarded the MBE and died in Hereford on 21st June, 1945.
