Quantities of Roman pottery and wasters ranging in date from late C1 to C4 found when draining orchard adjacent and to N of Marley Hall. Site excavated by owner W Betteridge without making exact observations of stratification. Pottery identified by Hawkes and reported on by Ward-Perkins. Kilns not found but burnt matter indicates their proximity. Finds in Hereford Mus.

Black and white photograph of the tomb of Anthony Biddulph which is in Ledbury church, Herefordshire. He died in 1718. There are several monuments to the family including the vault in this church. The tomb has no makers mark and it was thought this might be the work of Thomas White of Worcester.
