A black and white photograph of an office block in Bridge Street, adjacent to large granaries where an immense quantity of grain etc was stored. There was a great risk of this food reserve being destroyed by incendiary bombs. A contrast in buildings and watchers is shown in the imaginary sketch of the castle keep which formally stood 350 yards away (removed in 17th Century).
