And now a new tool
has been launched to
help ex- service person
nel and their families
access services in the
county.
Herefordshire Civilian
Military Task Group
is encouraging those
people to benefit from a
new information book~
let which was released
this week.
‘Service to Civvy
Street’ is a guide to help
veterans of all ages and
their families navigate
healthcare, employ
ment. housing. educa-
tion and other support
county.
It was launched this
week by Lady Darnley,
the Lord Lieutenant of
Herefordshire, at the
Military Charities Help-
desk at Franklin House,
Hereford.
Anyone who has served
in the Armed Forces or
is the partner, spouse or
family member of some-
one who has served can
take advantage of the
new booklet.
The booklet is avail—
able from the helpdesk
on Tuesdays and Thurs-
days from 10am to 2pm
at the Franklin House
Customer Service
Centre 011 Blueschool
Street, Hereford.

Festive Lions’
cash totted up
VISITORS to the Hereford Lions Club
Santa Grotto at the Wyevaie Garden
Centre helped to raise thousands of
pounds to the group's charity fund.
A total 27,000 was made, boosted
by the visits of the Lions' Santa Sleigh
to the city's streets and villages.
Club president Colin Smith said:
“Yet again Herefordians showed their I
great spirit of generosity and we will
ensure this wonderful gesture will be
put to good use helping those in need I
in the community."

ADULT autism social group Aspire
Link is meeting at The Barrels in St
Owen Street, Hereford, from 11am to
2pm next Monday.
Various people will be talking at the
meeting, including representatives
from The Rural Media Company.
