Ronald Weaver was taken to Hereford County Hospital following the fall on October 11 but later died from his injuries. Mr Weaver's son. Andrew Weaver, told an inquest at Hereford Town Hall , that his dad was still working as a car salesman at the time of his death. He believed he had gone into the garage to tidy up and was either entering or leaving a loft when the accident happened. County coroner Mark Bricknell said Mr Weaver died from a muiti— facial extensive intracranial haemor- rhage. He recorded a verdict of acci— dental death. HTnewsroom ORGANISERS of a river carnival which brought more than 7,000 people into Hereford last year have extended the event over two days — thanks to a grant from the City Council. Hereford River Carni- val will host its launch event on April 29 before the main carnival on the River Wye takes place the following day. A grant of £3,000 from Hereford City Council has guaranteed that the event will go ahead and - will help to pay for basic necessities including toilets and marquees.
