He went on to have his own estate agency business and he’s now in surveying. “But I’ve always kept that in- terest. They [my parents] have always had old things. So it’s very much in the blood,” she added. “I can remember from a very early age having a fascination in craftsmanship and where things came from and also how old something could be. “When I started, and it has been more than 10 years now, I thought this is just a phase but it's just stayed with us and I think it will always be with us. “It’s part of our fascination with history, design and ar- chitecture and it links with so 'many different aspects.
