WYE Theatre Company‘s
next production will be The
Comedy of Errors. if they
can find a key character
who has yet to be cast.
The play revolves around
the mayhem surrounding
long-separated twin broth~
ers and their servants who
are also twin brothers who
all turn up in the same
town. But so far the. compa-
ny has been unable to find
anyone to play Antipholus
of Syracuse.
So if you are male,
between the ages of 35—45.
and preferably about 1.7-
1.8111 tall and dark-haired.
then the company would
love to hear from you. As
Antipholus is a principal
part. some acting experi—
ence would be useful. if not
essential. They are also
looking for someone to play
a Merchant for whom the
requirements are less
exacting! The play will be
performed at The Powell
Theatre in early April.

new year with two of
Herefordshire’s biggest
rock and blues bands per-
forming at The Booth Hall
on Friday, January 22.
Porkbelly Promotions pre-
sents Hereford’s ‘king of
blues’, The Troy Redfern
Band with support from

Raptor and a special guest
slot with Worcestershire
band, As Mamas.
John Hales from Porkbelly
Promotions says: “I have
been wanting to get Troy
Redfern and Raptor to play
the same gig for a while
now. They are both incredi-
ble bands and I know that
they are going to create a
great atmosphere.”
The Booth Hall re-opened
its doors at the end of
December and has already
gained a great deal of sup-
port from local people.
Upcoming events at The
Booth Hall include The
Hereford Blues Club, which
launches on Saturday,
February 13, and there will
be a monthly jam session
for local musicians run by
