And a grant of £74,850
from Sport England means

be getting a game-changing
makeover
“The grant comes from

a year to reme
Facilities fund," said club
secretary Vince McNally.
"This. along with the
support from our police

extend our gym at Hinton.
helping us to develop our
boxers and be of benefit
to people who just want to
come along and train.
"We will have two box-
ing rings and a lot of extra
space."
The second win of Abdal-
lah‘s fledgling career came
under the watchful eye
of World IBF challenger
Frankie Gavin at a show in
Stratt‘ord-upon-Avon.
Abdallah took on Cow
entry boxer David Sliwa,
who trains out of Foleshill
Boxing Gym anti, although
he took on the fight at
short notice. the Hereford
man dominated the three
rounds, gaining a unani-
mous decision.
“Yusuf wants to continue
to develop his skills and
competition experience
and we are looking to in-

by taking part in a Captains
Drive-in 9-Hole competition.
Chris Mills came out on
top, claiming 325 points, a
point ahead of Nigel Scott.
Scott said that, despite the
wet weather, ‘the course was
just about playable.
“Scoring was difficult, but
many members were keen to
brave it,” he said.
