BEMUSED residents in King-
ton are asking just how one
car came to find itself block-
ing a public footpath.
The car, which is block—
ing the alleyway in Tanyard
Lane, was found on the morn-
ing of December 27 — although
police have no idea how it got
there or who it belongs to.
The walkway which comes
out on Love Lane has become
inpassable since the vehicle
became wedged in.
A police spokesman said:
“Police attended and because
there was no way of iden—
tifying the owner from the
records, the matter was re-
ferred to the council.”
A Herefordshire Council
spokeswoman said they were
not sure how it got there but
as the vehicle was obstruct-
ing a public footpath it would
be removed.
Resident Dave Barrett sent
the picture into the Hereford
Times.
He said: “It’s a Suzuki J imny
— the car they said could go
places other cars could not.”
The Suzuki Jimny has been blocking the public
footpath in Kington since December 27
