January 7. 2016 herefordtimescom Shock for driver as keys stolen in lgnlthn A MAN jumped on a car bonnet and took the keys out of the ignition of the ve- hicle after the driver asked him to move his car which was blocking the road. The incident happened on Christmas Eve between ltlam and 10.30am when the victim e a man in his late GUS — was leaving the Tesco car park in Bewell Street. Hereford. and found a \‘ehir cle blocking his route. He told police he asked the driver to more who then started to shout abuse at him. The victim said he man- aged to get past the ob- structing vehicle and can ried on down the slip road towards Newmarket Street. But. as he stopped at the traffic lights. the driver of the obstructing vehicle jumped onto his car's bon< net and then opened his side door before taking the key from the ignition. At the most recent meeting of the full council, Cllr Alan Seldon supported a motion to review the process in fix- ing urgent problems on the county’s roads. He said: “Last Saturday night I had the occasion to drive to Leominster from Bromyard at night in the rain and quite frankly at times it was terrifying. “Because all of a sudden in the Bredenbury area the road markings disappeared. Those that are less able than I would find it terrifying.
