for new venture

A MULTHvtILLlON pound fund aimed
at creating homes and jobs across
Hereiordshire closes its latest round
of applications on February 19.
Developers are being encouraged
to apply before the closing date to
stand a chance of benefitting.
The Marches Local Enterprise
Partnership, which manages The
Marches Investment Fund,
announced in November that £4 mil-
lion was being made available to pri—
vate developers. housing companies
and businesses with expansion
plans. so that stalled development
oroiects could be brought forward.
Marches Investment Fund manag—
er, Caroline Cattle, said: "In our first
round of tunding, we received some
really interesting applications which
are geing through due diligence. Our
second round at applicafions have
been sim ilar ,well received but we
wanted to remind developers that
they still have time to apply."

touch with Lauren as soon
as I heard she was look-
ing for a chef‘ he said “It

to me. The food we produce
will depend on the seasons.
That is very important to
me."
Mr Donachie was one of
12 contestants who reached

recent Masterchef series.
“It was an amazing oppor-
tunity although a bit daunt—
ing at first,” he said.
He will now choose a team
to assist him ahead of the
planned opening in late
spring.

following that success,
established The Curious
Hat to produce vintage
inspir ed prints.

gether, got in touch with.
Mrs Hopkins and asked
her if she would like to
have a profile on their
website.
And this month she has
been given an award for
client satisfaction on the
website, which is a place
to browse home renova-
tion ideas and designs.
Mrs Hopkins said: “I am
delighted to win. I work
hard to make my custom-
ers happy and it is grati-
fying they appreciate all
my hard work.”
