* CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH . - Another open meeting in connection with the Congrega- tional Church Young Men's Bible Class was held on Sunday afternoon last . The Rev. W. A. Powicke presided over a fairly good gathering . Mr. J. J. Cable , of Tudorville House , gave an exceptionally interesting address , which all present thoroughly appre- ciated . Solos were sung by Miss Phillips , Mr. Bert Restall , and Mr. J. Hamecher , and the gathering passed off very success- fully .
KYRLE PICTURE PALACE . - The variety pro- vided in this week's programme at the Palace in the Gloucester - road is exception- ally amusing . A public meeting in connection Ross Free Church Council was h Baptist Church Schoolroom on evening last , Mr. T. J. Guy presi meeting was chiefly in support of perance movement , and was atten children of the various Church Hope in the town , who rende choruses , recitations , etc. , at inte ing the meeting .
