MONMOUTH SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION . At the recent examination for scholarships tenable at the Monmouth Grammar School , about 70 candidates entered from the counties of Monmouth , Gloucestershire , and Hereford- shire . A number of scholars from the Ross Council School and Walter Scott's School en- tered , and out of these the successful candi- date , and the one at the top of the list , was Master Albert Price , son of Mr. Price , Green Dragon , Ross .
