Description A rider in his younger days, 100-year-old William Symonds was a life-long hunt supporter. A widower, he lived at Pigeon House Farm, Maund Bryan, near Bodenham. For 50 years he walked the puppies for the North Herefordshire Hunt, giving them a basic training before joining the working pack. Story appeared in the Western Daily Press September 4th, 1970.
