Herefordshire Life Through a Lens

A sample of images from Derek Evans Studio, which is the focus of an exciting new project in partnership with Catcher Media.

Herefordshire Life through a Lens is a three-year media and oral history project about the social history of Herefordshire, inspired by the extensive and newly accessible photographic archive from the Derek Evans Studio.

“Without question, Derek Evans was a fine and accomplished photographer. He was clearly passionate about Hereford and the region. His image repertoire was affectionate, humanist, liberal and well-crafted”

This development stage is funded by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund, and Hereford City Council and is supported by Herefordshire Council through its Libraries and Collections and Archive Services.
