| Description | Black and white photograph of one-man circus Fred Able with his cart, donkeys & dogs. The signs read, 'rats on TV'. Able once had a television contract. The circus comprised two donkeys, pulling his 7" x 4" wagon, which housed 50 performing mice, 15 rats, two dogs and a pigeon. The wagon was also Fred's home. This item appeared in the Guardian February 21st, 1961. |
