---|---|
Description |
Black and white photograph showing a young woman and two men sat on a settee. There is a television set on the right. The young woman sat in the middle of the settee is 19-year-old Symonds Yat resident, Wendy Brute. The Rotaract Club bought her a colour television set with the proceeds from a shop they had ran for two days in the town. The club chairman, Martin Boyton, is on the left and David Rigden is on the right. Colour television sets did not outnumber black-and-white sets until 1976.
