The occasion is a ceremony held at Ross Bowling Club for postal executive, Mr. Albert C. Clarke on his retirement. Ross Postmaster, Mr. G. J. Franks, is presenting him with a cheque from the post office staff. The man on the left is Mr. M. Hill and the lady on the right is Mr. Clarke's wife.
